<I had failed to notice I was oppressed.>

Gidday again Lazzie. Slaves do get used to their captivity. They even come to love their oppressors. It's called the Stockholm Syndrome. Cult members suffer the same effect and it takes quite a bit of deprogramming to get them free.

I think it is like exactly what I've seen the many times I've been there. Many Americans have escaped to freedom - you can find them all through New Zealand, hanging out in Prague and all over the place. Many prefer to live elsewhere. fredoneverything.net

See what I mean?

But hey, don't worry about it if you like it as it is. Everyone has a different thang. You shouldn't feel bad because everyone doesn't like the same thing as you do. We all like different things at different stages of our lives and even our favourite food can become a bit nauseating after nothing but that for a week.

There are plenty of people who DO want to go there. There's hundreds of Haitians for a start. Loads of Cubans. Miles of Mexicans. Tons of Chinese, Indians, Vietnamese and all sorts. And you managed to hook me old mate Kumara in. Heck, you even got Alan Beaven [who saved the Capitol from a few Head-Hacking Moslem terrorists with a bit of help from some other passengers and information via CDMA phragmented photons] though he died in the attempt to take over the aircraft.
