Anyone in marketing?

Say you had 500 catalogs and 1000 customers and you employed a sales rep. A rep can visit 500 stores per month (we can dream). Would you mail your catalogs to the people that the rep is going to visit or would you mail the catalogs to the people the rep isn' going to visit?

Kind of a tough question. I know what AOL's answer would be, mail the customers 300 catalogs each per month and then capitalize the advertising costs. I don't have that kind of budget (or printed catalogs :( )
