After thinking about it for a while I realized that the Founding Fathers did not really care where you were from

Isn't the whole business of passports and citizenship a late 19th/early 20th century invention? Until then, you just came to the US, no papers required.

I had "John Doe" knocking on my door today, asking for my vote. I said "do you support taxation without representation".
