They are so busy fighting over who gets to prosecute that they will probably never get a confession. Reminds me of a scene from the NYPD Blue with a "skel" in the interrogation room and two sets of Detectives fighting over who gets to get at him.

Certainly not until after the trial and the appeals. Ted Bundy never admitted he was guilty, but he was willing to say what a person who committed such crimes would have been thinking.

I wonder if there was a sexual bond between them, like Leopold and Loeb.
