Jim, There were very interesting articles on Ford and GM in the October 28 Fortune. Both articles highlighted the significant problems each faces. Very bearish for a mainstream publication. If Ford and GM are having problems now, with record vehicle sales, one can only imagine what happens when vehicle sales decline. As you point out the 0% financing is problematical for future sales; and probably attracting many sub-standard borrowers in the process. DB
