We lost our Chapter over a similar event. Don't get me wrong....there were several infractions involving beer but the final straw was during Fiji Island. We placed a statue of a Native of Fiji in the yard and the UW went nuts. The chancellor went nuts. It was Donna Shallala <sp? who later ended up with the Clinton Admin. She was very good for our University and I have a great deal of respect for her but that decision really hurt us. We had a beautiful Frank Loyde Wright built home on lake mendota. Now someone else is in OUR historic home. It burns me every time I go by the house. That said I must admit that the Beer infractions were a problem.
