Sharansky has been a unique, interesting voice for years in Israel. He has progressed from a bit player to a potential contender. Governments all over the world lack have visionaries in key roles. Sharansky is a visionary. With a Palestinaian counterpart (of which there are a few) a with some backbone in the west, peaceful co-existance (and even a two state solution) could be reached in a really short time.
