That's where you and I disagree. I do not think that economic efficiency is the best barometer how civilized a civilization is. For you it is like an economic darwinism, that those who prosper deserve all benefits and those who fall through the cracks, well, tough luck. That's a very American perspective, by the way.

Most other countries have a more compassionate approach.
