Any idea of what those contested counties in FL, or IL, or PA, or MI are using this year? It would be REALLY bad form for the same counties to have the same problems even if the machines are different....

Judging by the primaries in FL, it doesn't matter what they vote with, they're gonna botch it.

Same counties as 2000 too.

Miami-Dade, Broward officials blow primaries
Already infamous as the scene of confusing ballots, hanging chads, under and overvotes, and re-recounts of the 2000 presidential election, Miami-Dade's Sept. 10 primary elections fared little better as late-opening polls prevented many people from voting. In addition, county officials estimated that thousands of other votes went uncounted.

In nearby Broward County, poll workers not fully trained on new touch-screen voting machines were often unable to assist voters, the County failed to send out sample ballots prior to the election and the relocation of several polling places further confused and inconvenienced many voters.

KLP, During the primaries, only two counties in Florida had any problems, while the other 65 had not problems at all. Those that know about Miami/Dade, and Broward, counties are not a bit surprised about the boondoggle in the primary election. They could screw up striking a match, and the problem was not the machines. The people that ran the polls in those counties were, for the most part, totally incompetent. A number of changes have been made, and the machine is so simple, and straight forward, anyone who has a problem with it is too dumb to vote at any time and anywhere.
