Tanky CB.More Expensive Than Here, That's For Sure.

But when you compare our tax rate, it probably comes out the same over an average person's lifespan. The idea here, of course, is no discrimination for health services. We is all equal in sickness and health, so to speak, but we don't have the option at this time to select or elect an alternative. I see cracks in the Universal HC wall beginning to emerge, but it will be some time before anything changes in a big way as long as the Liberals run the show.

I've been very fortunate in never being sick, couple of small accidents, but no biggie.I hear stories of people in the US being pretty well ruined by events of sickness and such and feel sorry for them that they don't have UHC when these disasters strike.

We had a problem awhile ago in boarder towns and cities where US citizens were coming across the boarder and getting free medical treatment.I think they were using fake ID's or something, or the system was pretty lax at the time.Haven't heard much on that since, but now we hear of Canucks scrambling across the boarder for surgery etc.. because the wait times are too long and they elect to pay instead.

Many things contributing to this that fail to get mentioned in our PC press here.We live with it.

Expecting tax increases soon to shore up the leaking boat.

They can't seem to figure out or employ intelligent measures to get their costs down, just the same ole same ole service cutbacks etc.........sad........ no will to address some issues either …too PC….. too ambivalent
