kumar, Ya'all is right. The Americans, and the Brits, do not speak the same lingo, but historically what we speak has been called English. I guess we just can not, completely, cut the apron strings, but viva la difference!! One thing that I really like about American, instead of English, is that the Brits, stuffy as they are, will not change, or upgrade, the Queen's English, but we have incorporated words, and phrases, of many of the cultures that were here before the white European invasion, and from those that came after. Our language is liberally sprinkled with words, and phrases, from several languages, which further helps to make us the melting pot of the world.
