Just had a magnitude 7.9 earthquake south of Fairbanks. Not too bad here in Anchorage, but it knocked my clock
radio off the windowsill. Further north, the Parks Highway between Anchorage and Fairbanks is closed because of a
3-foot gap. This is the second shaker from that area in recent weeks.
