I believe it was TRC Capitals out of Canada which made an offer for 6 million shares of GG at 14.25 . The offer was unsolicited . I seem to remember the same outfit making offers like that for another gold or silver stock. I have no idea why they do that, for one they pay no premium so who `s gonna sell? nevertheless the brokers have to contact their clients to get a verbal or written answer for this answer. I declined of course. I don`t think it has much meaning though. Step1
