You seem to define religious "teachings" as bits of religions that you personally like....

Maurice/elmat just see the negative aspects and wants to throw the baby out with the bathwater.

I am trying to point out that as a WHOLE all of these are very flawed systems and also can't possibly be true, but they may have some teachings which are insightful.

I don't understand how you challenged me to find negative teachings when they are so abundant.

Now you are sounding a little more balanced.

Religions are at bottom about serving gods. That's why many don't classify Buddhism as a religion.
