"Versus" CDMA? You mean "regarding" CDMA? Because Europe is not against CDMA per se to the best of my knowledge. A lot of European operators have committed to W-CDMA, as the GSM system in use in this country is adaptable easier to W-CDMA. The technology will be deployed in Western Europe towards 2006, it seems. This is at odds with the CDMA2000 deployed in North America, but hey, different standards do not seem to disturb these two continents anyway :)
