Hi ts,

Nice to see you as always. Are you really having trouble with pop-up ads on SI? You can download a simple pop-up blocker, you know. Ask at the Computer Learning thread.

Here's the pp-up killer I use:
southbaypc.com

But as P said, you can also ask at Computer Learning. Or put "pop up blocker" into google.

But, as I'm sure you're aware, this is an arms race. We get something to keep them off our computers. And they find a hole in the defense, or a way around it, and attack again.

I found that removing the bookmarks worked wonders.

How strange a concept!~ It's brilliant, really.

The pop up phenomenon is out of hand. I have NoAds, but they change their addresses just enough to get around it. I see that Laz just posted a lind to a pop up blocker. I didn't know there was anything separate from the NoAds thing that they've managed to render useless with their infernal cleverness.

Nice to see you again, thames!
