"X, do you care if you are wrong?

Two facts can coexist, and do. It's my opinion that 1) Poet should not have posted toorabout her persecutor or yearned for an acknowledgment or apology from him, and doing so was neurotic on her part (she would agree, I believe); AND 2) Poet was his victim, and suffered harm at his hands, and at yours.

E, I think that was very well put. And important, because much of the difficulty in working this through has been folks not accepting that this scenario is not either-or but rather that multiple elements can co-exist.

If two can co-exist, then three can co-exist. I submit that, as a reaction to one and two, some folks conducted themselves like vigilantes on speed. I think that it takes all three elements to get the complete picture of what happened.

Since I have seen Poet revel in her victimhood, and manipulate the posters here, I cannot possibly feel she was harmed (at least not by others). I think she enjoys these contretemps, goes out of her way to find and provoke them, and I think you and everyone who supported her played the fool.

There is a difference between a woman who dresses foolishly and who gets raped (she deserved it, NOT) and a woman who provokes men time and time again, and then goes after them. I think were it not for the amazing behavior AFTER the event, I might have been able to give your scenario a wee bit of credence, even after seeing Poet get into almost identical fracas with other men. But her behavior since the event has been so bizarre, I cannot see how you even believe yourself. But I assume you do. And I don't really care that you do. But if you spout that stuff here, I will continue to disagree with you. I will not follow you to other threads, though. So rest assured you may spout in peace in those other venues.
