Karen, We have two distinct things we are talking about. First on whether or not the CIA is the source of all knowledge in the world, let me remind you that a few weeks ago, North Korea announced that they have already developed nuclear weapons. AND the CIA knew nothing! Further the CIA never predicted the fall of the Shah, that US solgiers would be targeted by Al Queda in Somalia, or that 911 could happen. So, if they don't know any of these things, why should their ignorance on matters relating to Iraq and WMD or terror be a surprise. These are precisely the area's where the CIA's talents are weakest! Second, on children. What would you do? Is the liberal answer to forceably take children from their parents if they aren't acceptable. Perhaps, any child should be taken away from his parents if either one of them chooses to vote republican. Is that what you are advocating? If you keep children with parents who don't give a shit (parden my french) how do you propose to help them out of the morass you decry they are in! Seeing a problem, that's the easy part, liberals have always been good at that. Finding a workable solution, that's the hard part, and that is precisely what the left fails to tackle. Show me the workable solution, describe it to me. How do we save the Indian child. How do we break the cycle for the crack-baby? How do we stop kids from listening to Eminem? Is the liberal answer, taking babies from parents, imposing censorship, forced sterilization? You are presenting the problems, and they may indeed be valid. How do we solve those problems?
