Dear Lazarus The world doesn't owe you or me a living. NO kidding. I never said it did. Ken Lay will never see the inside of a jail. For some reason, he has immunity from prosecution, possibly because of what he has on Cheney. "FDR inherited a collapsed bubble. It took WW2 to get out of it. When you're ready to condemn him and his policies, we can discuss this." You know as I walk the numerous granite stairways and paths that go on for miles and lead to the splendiforous Bridal Veil Falls and many other natural wonders at Silverton, Oregon I am in awe that FDR did this. He put people back to work during the depression leaving a legacy we now enjoy that we'd otherwise not have...too prohibitively expensive had some corporation built it. The WPA was putting folks to work years before we entered war. The richer you are the more loopholes you have especially if you have your own business where you can make 300k and only pay ss taxes. I bet those who don't want a flat tax are among the richest because then they'd have to actually pay taxes. I'm right.
