So what if there is a word called "taqiyya" in Arab? It just means that Arab administrations, like their counterparts anywhere on this planet, will be dishonest to get what they want. Is this a purely Arab invention? I vaguely remember a US president saying "I did not have sex with that woman", and that is just the most harmless lie. The truth of the matter is that everyone lies to get at their goals. Especially governments. I don't understand why you are so shocked and appalled that so would Arab states.
