I am not rejoicing in 911, just saying technically that it helped Bush. No doubt about it. Without 911, the Dems would have taken the house and gained in the Senate. The "Warm up the Tank" comment is that Bush now can move on Iraq with much less backbiting from Congress.

Whither you are for or against Bush, this is just reality.
