LindyBill - in Yemen this week. We are sending a message to the terrorist to "Watch the skys!"

You would of course support that... Just blowing six people to kingdom come - no courts, no nothing, in another country, not even knowing who the other people are sitting next to the guy who annoys the US.

>>I>Was it happening when France recently unilaterally sent troops to Africa to clean up a country they were not happy with?

Are you talking about Algeria? Fat lot of good that did to the French. Is that an example you want to follow, Bill? You might like to know that the French ended up apologizing. And that was a little farther back then "recently".

>>It won't be unilateral. Some countries are aware that what we are doing must be done.

Oh really? Which countries would those be? So far as I can see, there is only the UK administration (not even the public) supporting the US. All others are looking up at the UN.

We are going to have to take down the ability of these "Islamists" to strike us at will.

It appears you have just declared war on the nation of Islam. Originally it was a war on terrorism. We all just hope that America, in its fear, does not become that which itself despises. There is no question that the world wishes for success against terrorism but we don't want to become terrorists ourselves in the process. Right?
