got my annual report last night -- ouch!!

34 people died last year pulling the barbaric relic out of the ground. I hope they can do better than that for the coming year.

For what it is worth, Yahoo updated today to 5.66% yield on dividends for HGMCY. Yesterday I think it was stating 3%.

Sorry for a dumb question, but does anybody know the standard calculation for yield? Last dividend * number of dividends a year divided by price? I was thinking last years dividends divided by price? IE do they typically look forwards or backwards or something else?

Horgad,

There are some folks that bought Harmony at much lower prices. Anyone who was following Heinz's discussion on problems with this bubble and took a look at what the investor was paying for the gold in the ground owns some of the stock at prices below $4.00. The current dividends on that capital gives the owner a nice return on capital. <g>

IMPAY and AAPTY are currently returning around 6% at their current prices.
