Of course, guys like Daschle and McAuliffe will never figure it out. Will you?

I think this could be the beginning of the end of the Democrat party. A few months ago I mentioned to tejek on this thread that I believed the Democrat party is dying, because its message has degenerated to one of dishonesty and meanness. I could hear the laughter all the way to Arkansas.

Tejek is gone now. But I'd really love to hear his defense of what happened yesterday. To me, the Democrats will have to radically reform themselves or they will suffer one humiliation at the polls after another until they are dried up and blown away. A new 2nd party will emerge, one that is conservative on fiscal and defense issues and socially more moderate than the Dems.

It's been clear to me.

Well, stand behind your generalizations. Show me how there have not been conflicting policy statements coming out different cabinet members of the White House. How is this not reflective of the conflicts within the WH. I have made my case. Make yours.

Of course, guys like Daschle and McAuliffe will never figure it out. Will you?

I think maybe you should ask Carl Rove this question.

Bush's consistency, honesty, and character helped win it for the GOP this year, a year where the GOP had more to lose than the Dems, a year that by tradition should have gone to the Democrats.

Tenchusatsu, you believe that BS and I've got three bridges to sell you. Bush got his way because the Dems didn't have their shit together.

As for honesty, Bush is a shrub.....nothing more needs to be said.
