I think the democrats now realize that Mr. Bush is one of the best politicians to come along in some time.

I was just listening this evening to some European commentators on that aspect..... In Europe, a head of State has to have some elequence and understanding of the issues. They've concluded that isn't the case in the United States and Bush has the American people pegged.

It appears the rebuilding process of the democrat party is underway.

They seem to be thinking about it. How they'll manage it is another question. After seeing this election, the key to success is unabated slander. To hell with issues. Slander the opponent. As a minority party, you shift to procedural moves in the Senate, which can be very effective.

bearshark, did you read Bill Keller´s Saturday Op-Ed piece in the NY Times? Re Pelosi, just what the Dems need....another McCauliff(sp?) A big UGH!
