Would it be worth it??
I brought my old Micron PII 266 with 128 ram into my office today. I have a 56K modem and a good dial up service to connect with.
At home, i have been spoiled by my Dell P4 1.8 with 512 ram and cable modem.
the Micron was soooooo slow, between dial up, streaming quotes, and a few windows open.
would it be worth it to jump the ram on it, or should i save for a new machine? actually, its okay for what i want there, mainly net access and word processor, but...... larry
