Digital by QCOM just means CDMA

3G by QCOM means a CDMA2000 standard, though it may not support packet data.

The exception is an LG which somehow ended up with a 3G label even though it was not, to the best of my knowledge, anything more than IS95A.

The Samsung N400 and A500 are MSM5100-based CDMA2000 devices, voice and data.
