I will watch with interest to see if the Repub Candidate in South Dakota challenges the vote.
We had a lot of "Voter Fraud" stories out of there last month that involved Indian Reservations,
and that is where the Dem won. The margin was really skinny:
Tim Johnson, Dem 167,481 (50%)
John Thune, GOP 166,954 (49%)

527 Votes!

You were asking for the "before" and after" on the House and Senate. Here they are.

U.S. SENATE
2 Races Undecided (as of 7:09 a.m. ET, Nov. 6, 2002)
New Prior
Democrat 46 49
Republican 51 49
Ind./Other 1 2

U.S. HOUSE
4 Races Undecided (as of 9:37 p.m. ET, Nov. 6, 2002)
New Prior
Democrat 203 210
Republican 227 223
Ind./Other 1 2

The House pickup was really remarkable also, IMO.
