When you talk about "what is thought privately by many people" I hope by now you realize that you are talking about a pulse of a minority, who like you are on a fringe, and are losing ability to see what is going on around them.

Sorry Joe but we are too big a group to be considered fringe. There are some people who see things before others do; that combined with the Dems. lack of conviction allowed an opportunist like Bush to get his way. It won't continue far into the future.

And nor do I doubt the positions I have taken are wrong; in fact they are right. When others were saying screw the UN, I was saying the contrary. When others were saying screw our allies, I was saying the contrary.

This over focus on Saddam is wrong. The recent attack on Al Qaeda was the right thing staged for the wrong reason......the elections. You think you've got a good guy in office who's not all that bright. Instead you've got a not so nice guy in office who is clever like a fox if not so bright.

Time will show the house of cards on which we're sitting. The weak markets, the weak economy, the general malaise that grips this nation speaks volumes. The Dems weak leadership makes Bush look good....he isn't.
