Of course it's all about weapons of mass destruction. That lunatic has already use it on 20,000 of his own people, he sent scuds into Israel, he can now send missiles into Saudi Arabia and beyond. Your casual passivity about Sadam Insane is very much the same as the Europeans in the 30's which allowed Hitler to come to power.

This past week, a woman escaped from Iraq to report to the media, I heard the interview on NPR, that madman lined up 15 women, mothers, teachers, and one physician... he bussed women from all over the region to witness the event... he had their heads chopped off in a public square...

And, yes, Clinton is definitely responsible for this catastrophe to a large degree...

The catastrophe began on January 20, 1993, when Clinton took the oath of office as the 42nd President. Clinton swore to "preserve, protect, and defend the Constitution of the United States from enemies both foreign and domestic."

During the next eight years, he presided over the most corrupt administration in American history; he would be only the second president in American history to be impeached.

When Bill Clinton took office, American supremacy on the world stage had never been so great and unchallenged. Our military was without equal. The economy was beginning a record boom.

Soon after Bill Clinton left office, Americans began to discover his bitter legacy.

Even as Clinton was leaving Washington, the American economy had begun to move into a serious recession.

And America’s belief in invulnerability was shattered on September 11, 2001, when 19 Arab hijackers slammed civilian jets into the World Trade Center and the Pentagon.

Clinton’s Role in America’s worst disaster demonstrates, the events of September 11 not only were predictable after eight years of Clinton, but they also could have been prevented.

Today, catastrophe exposes what really happened during the Clinton years, and how Bill Clinton and his administration systematically undermined America’s national security by emasculating the U.S. military and the nation’s intelligence agencies.

Bill Clinton made America vulnerable to attack.

Clinton’s own admission that he could have extradited Osama bin Laden from Sudan, but he didn’t because he felt bin Laden was not a threat. If you don’t believe this, read his interviews on the subject.

A senior CIA officer goes on record to reveal that Bill Clinton helped Saddam Hussein by allowing him to sell oil illegally, and make billions to stay in power.

Clinton adviser Dick Morris says that Clinton was warned about the terrorist bombings against American troops at the Khobar Towers, and he ignored the warning!

The FBI and CIA could have easily foiled the 9-11 attacks, but were negligent as two known terrorist gained entry into the U.S. with the CIA’s full knowledge. They would later participate in the 9-11 attacks.

FBI agent Coleen Rowley says the FBI could have prevented 9-11, but refused to get a search warrant on one of the 9-11 terrorists. This was on all the network news.

Bill Clinton tied the hands of the CIA and FBI, this is now common knowledge.

Bill Clinton refused to require drivers' licenses to expire at the time of expiring visas. If he had done this, one of the 9-11 terrorists would have been arrested or deported.

The 1996 Clinton-Gore airline safety commission set the stage for 9-11.

Clinton’s adviser Dick Morris says Bill Clinton’s affair with Monica Lewinksy helped Osama bin Laden survive and plot 9-11.

A secret 1994 terrorism report warned of suicidal hijackings, now on public record, and Bill Clinton ignored it.

The list goes on...

Don't be fooled, this is a war between Islam and the Western world, and we're not starting it, they are, they have already sworn they will murder all Americans at all costs, this includes you and your family, we need to be prepared and ready...

I don't know if it is about oil for Bush.

If anybody has 14mins to spare, I suggest listening to this rebroadcast of a piece on public radio about weapons inspectors in iraq in the early 90s. Iraq's complete and total disregard of international law is amazing bravado, inspectors were completely ignored there as tons of biological weapons material was shipped to hospitals and other wmd materials moved around the country with limited effort expended to cover it up. I didn't know the magnitude of the violations until I heard this, maybe common knowledge, still a well done segment.

UN arms control experts (14:53)

If inspectors really do get back to Iraq, they will be treading in well-worn footsteps. UN arms control experts spent seven years in the 1990s scouring the country for weapons of mass destruction. The World's Jeb Sharp looks back on the challenges, successes, and failures of the last mission.

Sandeep,GZ-It's the oil, a new BETTER world order. Rightfully so.

Oil is in all..not just to power cars and aircraft. In pharmaceuticals, petrochemicals, plastics. Any one who pooh-pooh's oil is just plain ignorant (thinking it is just a source of energy).

Every few years, geopolitical changes have occurred that changed the map of the world in economic (and political) terms. In the early and mid-80's it was the revolution in Poland (that started it all in the East Bloc), and Glasnost. Then in the late '80s and early '90s, it was the tearing down of the Berlin Wall, the end of Communism in E. Europe and the dissolution of the Soviet Union. And then the Gulf War. All of them gave an impetus to globalization and the global economy.

Everyone who talks about war says it is bullish and even go on to say it is the ONE thing that would make them bullish.

However, their theories aside, we the global economy need such drastic change to get more countries and regions not participating to their fullest potential into the mainstream. That much I agree with the need for change in such regions of the world. Besides the need for democracy etc (which need to be instilled even in other regions hitherto ignored).

That is the question of 'should'..but can it be done? That is another question and I do not think it will be entirely possible.

It is about a new BETTER world order. And rightfully so.

Settling old scores? Think again.
