You will notice that I talked about time compression in one of the posts. Things are happening faster in this cycle. The May 2002 top took a little over 3 months to reach bottom in Sept 2001. I make a discretionary call that the cycle was meant to be a little longer, but was accelerated due to 9/11. So I am looking at 3 months max to reach a bottom. To throw a little ewave crap in, which I am a rank amateur novice at Compare the Double top of July/Sept 2000 to the current Double top stockcharts.com[r,a]dhcaynay[d20000509,20010709][pb50!b200][iub14][J8114423,Y]&listNum=1 Current stockcharts.com[r,a]dhcaynay[pb50!b200][iub14][J7867136,Y]&listNum=1 I believe that both sport a flat correction in ewave parlance that implies that we have just entered a "5". (pardon my terms and definitions, I haven't quite finished the "Elliot Wave Principle" yet, so my comfort level is low). Summary: -Just completed a flat correction and just entering a 5. -Comparisons made with the May 2001 top which took a little over 3 months to reach a new bottom. -We seem to be in a compressed cycle -Therefore, I expect the 5 wave to complete in less than 3 months from the high, which I have pegged as Monday Nov 5. forgot my target summary post from last week Message 18186599
