XCOPY. . . worked. . . BUT. . .

Sample of my procedure. . .
Given: M: is my CD-ROM (Write)

Run MSDOS
cd cd progra~1
cd Netscape
cd comm477
m:
cd cd prog#740 (result of trying to MD "Program Files")
cd netscape
cd comm477
c:
xcopy *.* m:/s/e
[dir, cd.. etc.]
exit

1. You have to create and be in the 1st directory of the destination.
2. Names longer than 8 char's are not copied with the same name. . . it makes another crazy name for it.

I'm not worried too much about it. . . it looks like I'm getting the important stuff copied.

Oh, I was NOT able to get any DOS help by entering XCOPY \?, XCOPY /?, or XCOPY ?

That was my experience with XCOPY. . .

Thank you,
Joe
