As Steyn mentioned, they could nominate Hillary for Pres in '04. That would sure activate the base. Of both Parties! They've certainly takin a first step in that direction by making Pelosi Minority Leader. I saw Charlie Rose address the camera the other night and sternly tell the Democrats that they had to run on ideas if they wanted to win. But I doubt even Charlie Rose meant that they should run on a platform of Nancy Pelosi's and Hillary Clinton's ideas. Oy. If they are trying to drive the DLC to become the RLC, they're going the right way about it.
