True Romance is a Tarantino flick, directed by Tony Scott. His best script, in my opinion. Boy meets girl, boy kills girl's pimp, boy and girl wind up with suitcase of mob cocaine, boy and girl wind up in the middle of an police/mob mexican standoff in the penthouse suite of a Hollywood producer/director, get away with the money, and live happily ever after, sans an eye. Cameo the Spirit of Elvis. It's fun stuff. Christian Slater, Patricia Arquette, Dennis Hopper, Christopher Walken, Brad Pitt (as a very funny stoned Floyd), Gary Oldman, and pre-Sopranos hitman James Gandolfini.

I've never seen Stranger than Paradise or Blood Simple. I'll have to look them up.
