Karen,

What if the 4 airplanes had taken out the Kremlin, or downtown London, or Tokyo.? I doubt they'd be threatening to invade Iraq.

I have to partially disagree on that.

On the Kremlin - Chechen's hiding behind nearby borders will be seeing Russian troops soon. Governments colluding with the Chechens will get 'regime changed' as well. And thinking about AQ vs Iraq - I doubt the Russians wait to react to any threats now - problems on their borders will have to worry - they were given a green light to secure their SC vote.

On London - look at what the UK did over the Fauklands. If 2800 Brit's were killed, I might be very afraid if I had any ties to the perpetrators. Given the 100+ Brit's killed in NY, it might just be why their looking to help us in Iraq.

On Tokyo - your probably right. There not in any position to do anything.
