My ex-wife and I rented The Age of Innocence once.

I just remember it as the one of longest afternoons of my life. Lots of promenading around in white costumes. That seemed to be the plot, as far as I could tell. And I LIKE slow movies.

Anyway, it was finally my wife's idea to hit the eject button. I would have suffered through.

In all fairness, though, we were still in our honeymoon phase, and just getting a little impatient...

Yes, I really like Daniel Day-Lewis as well....wonder what has happened to him...? The Last of the Mohicans was really well done as well....

The reason I added Age of Innocence was because of the extremes of the characters, but have to also admit I truly enjoyed the settings...opulent fairyland antiques and scenery....must have been a princess in my last life! <hehehehe>
