I don't think you can judge Christ by what happened after his death, the song remains the same. The Roman world was in sharp decline and quickly morphed into Roman Catholicism. Those who did not like that became tagged as Protestants and as Frederick says it became a game of claim, blame and shame after that. Both sides lost touch with their claimed reality if they ever even had it. If you read the posts of Elect you would have to be either insane or a mathematician to be saved. "Well your precious mares don't have as great the karma of killing , being only grazing mammals" ?? I have seen mares kill dogs and other predators they felt were dangerous to the herd or their offspring. I have also seen mares jealous of newborns and steal babies from mares that have not got back on their feet after delivering. There would be less meat consumed if people saw where their meat came from. They would certainly stop eating chicken and turkey.
