these days I use PC CIllin..it simply scans ingoing and outgoing mail

Systemworks hogs memory and wraps itself in about everything on the PC...I've had more freeze-ups and problems SINCE I installed NORTON than I ever had when I walked the WEB unprotected<g>

Mark,

<< I've used symantec software products everyday since 1997, and i can safely say that i wouldn't want to even think about operating a computer without norton systemworks installed, and i wouldn't want to spend a minute online without norton antivirus protecting my files. >>

I share your sentiments. First software utilities I ever purchased were PC Tools by Central Point back in DOS 3.x days and I've been using the Norton Utilities and Anti-Virus (now rolled into SystemWorks) since PC Tools rolled into Norton.

Anytime I've upgrade OS I've made sure I have the updated Norton Utilities and AV on hand and install em before the OS unless clean installing (which I didn't do with XP) and even then I've had the DOS version installed. I also make sure everything's squeaky clean using them before the install.
