$12 billion hole in the state budget?
So far nobody has come forward with any proposals. Texas has never offered much in the way of programs, so when it's time to cut back there is isn't many places except for police and highways, both of which have strong lobbies. Most likely there will be another increase in sales taxes, the problem is the Republicans can't figure out who to blame it on this time.
