No question about the blame. You have only had Republicans in power for a long time.

My son who lives near Houston said that Texas politics are the dirtiest he has ever seen. He described the Governors race and how the Republicans blamed the Democratic nominee for a murder.....they marched out a DEA agents wife and a bunch of DEA agents actually blamed the guy for murder.............what in heck happened there? My son said the TV ads are the worst he has ever seen......he can't believe they can get away with that kind of slander...............he claims it is disgusting and told me that Californians would have run the guy out of town for placing ads that were that nasty.
