Re Enron, it isn't over

That's true:

truthout.com

You can't arrest someone for taking too much compensation from his employer.

I know, and I'm in favor of "too much compensation" anyway. The more the merrior.
What I'm steamed about is the secrecy allowed on the offshore accounts etc. The public has a need to know on public information about public companies, particularly those under indictment, and ESPECIALLY those with ties to either organized crime, or in this case, the top political leadership of our country. Either investigate the hell out of it, or admit defeat.

Secrecy is the cancer of our country, guaranteeing criminal incompetence, and simple criminality. Nothing in our government should be done without oversight by accountable individuals, and should all be auditable. The only things secret should be our private lives and bona-fide military secrets, and those not for long, and the public government and criminal investigations instead are getting the clandestine treatment, while individuals are losing privacy.

I've been around long enough to know if someone is hiding something pertaining to my business or government, there's likelihood of "mischief". The more they stonewall the greater the likelihood.
