If he DID, then why aren't the Democrats in California hauling him into court?

Democrats are currently null and void.
Everyone knows that.

I suppose you think Microsoft should post its source code on the Internet for public viewing?
You know that's silly. Microsoft's intellectual property is theirs, of course. Corporate competitive information is different than the public information of government, but is still subject to SEC laws on publicity, and when crimes are involved, to greater public scrutiny. I'm sure you know this, you're just trying to look for discussion, which is fine.

Government information is paid for by you and me, and we own it. The only thing kept secret should be certain irrelevent personnel records and bona-fide military secrets, subject to trusted independent review, and declassified regularly when obsolete. The rest belong to the people, not gov't officials who think it belongs to them just because the have the unaccountable power to keep it secret to cover their mistakes or increase their power.

Read prior posts, the words "bona-fide military secrets".

The problem is under the current administration the intent is to militarize all of government and call everything of significance a "national security military secret".
You see the problem? That creates an all-powerful central government. Which is pretty much in place already, but that puts the icing on the cake -- the foxes fully in charge of the henhouse.
