Yes, very interesting. Some months ago, in one of my stagflation posts, I commented on the "race" the Fed was running. IMO, the Fed is desperately trying to get CapEx going prior to the ignition of inflation resulting from its liquidity pumping. At the time, I said we should know the outcome by spring. With the information in this chart (and the accompanying article) and the FIG that I posted yesterday, they have a chance to win the "race". But its still to early to declare a winner. Uncertainty over Iraq could derail CapEx growth. Another Bin Luddite event could also have a sever dampening effect on CapEx.
