You think bin Laden cares about the Kurds or Iranians? Yes. They are religious Muslims. So are many of the people he has killed and also so are many Iraqis who were fighting the Iranians and the Kurds. You think Reagan helped Iraq against the Kurds? Yes. And against the Iranians. Help is fungible in many cases. The help we provided against the Iranians made it easier for him to hit the Kurds, but we did not provide any direct help against the Kurds. Tim
