The original statements disparaged PRESIDENT GEORGE W. BUSH for stating that Islam is a religion of peace. I believe the vast majority of Americans who are Muslims are good Americans. In America I believe a small number may be radical Islamists. I have no sense of what distortions of Islam are foistered on millions of Muslims living in places where secular forces really control who can speak and what they can say. The broad sweeping unqualified statements and logic are stupid and narrow minded.
