What have I been saying all along? Lots of criticism for the current foreign policy without an alternative to suggest?

Fine...the Democrats got caught flat footed. They could not disagree with Bush openly on Iraq and his tough approach in the Middle East or they were being unpatriotic. They take up a typical pro-labor position on Homeland security and lose the PR battle on that too on similar grounds. So what's left on which to differentiate yourself? The economy, education, social security. But wait, the administration is crowding the airwaves with Iraq...every speech, Bush, Cheney, Rumselfd, Rice, Wolfowitz, every word uttered put the country in this grave state of imminent war...so after 9/11 you wanna talk about these other things? Sorry...I am busy being afraid now.

I mean, this so called failure of the Democrats is not in itself exoneration for a dangerous foreign policy of pre-emption, unilateral war (other people's kids have to fight) and abdication in Palestine.
