Sure the Russians, besides being stupid and greedy are totally unprincipled ,so they decided to sell them these two ton bombs that they smuggled out of top secret military sites. I believe that. Would you buy a bomb from such a person? So ok, they did. So then the Al Quaedea guy with manual in hand takes this warhead and control system the size of a chevy van and takes it all apart and piece by piece smuggles it into the US. Sure. And put it all back together again in pieces in an apartment in Washington. Ok. They did that by referring to the Russian Manual on deconstruction and reconstruction of warheads. Or ... they smuggled the control and triggering system into the states off a boat and trucked it to the city in one piece and it's in a garage somewhere. Don't forget explosive warhead and telemetry and control have to be decoupled and recoupled with a timer triggering system in order to get it to work. Do you suppose that is easy given the lack of materials on the subject of recycling of warheads? I can see the testing process .. "OK, Ahmed, give it the juice and see if all the lights come on at the same time.. let's see, how do we know if the thing will blow if we connect the blue wire to the green wire, say.. what is this button for?"
