MK, I like SLO, too, and have relatives living there. Lots of gorgeous women in that town.

It was a long, strange trip to Houston, chasing the almighty dollar and fleeing a horde of banshess with "Early Test Strips" clutched in their hands <G>. From Fremont to Monterey to San Angelo, Texas, to Germany then back to Alameda then Rock Island,Il, to Germany again, then England, then Alameda again, then Philadelphia to Kansas City to St. Paul to Dallas to Houston.

Houston is a huge surprise. There is definitely heat and humidity, though it is fabulous weather for 6 months of the year. Lots of air pollution near the refineries, but I live on the other side of the county. More flowers than anywhere I've lived other than Lompoc, where I was a kid and they grew the flowers professionally. The Texans are a mixed lot. Mostly decent folks with the loud ones being noticed the most and being crazy as loons. As long as I don't turn into one, I'm happy. <g>
