the initial ambush I don't know how the Geography sets up for it, but I would expect a little "ethnic cleansing" in the area. A cleared zone to make this a little more difficult to do.

You should be complimenting the Palestinians on fighting against soldiers instead of civilians. They attacked civilians who had an armed guard. Most, but not all, of the dead came from the guard. They had an armed guard because they have been repeatedly attacked. I must have missed the bit in the Geneva Conventions where civilians turn into a proper military objective once they have an armed guard. Also, my comments were not so much directed at the attack as directed at the headline, which made it sound like the Palestinians had died after an Israeli ambush, instead of the other way around.

You are right, Billow, and a bit late. More than twenty four hours ago, the Israeli media reported that the main target was the escort, as the civilians were only granted the grenade bit and bullet spray. As it was open space all around the Israeli party, and as they did not use scouts for reasons you can easily imagine, the ambush by some Pals was easy game, and the outcome unavoidable. Now the Is will change their MO... Of course the Abraham, Jacob & co bit is not pertinent to the killing, as the Muslims agree: they are prophets. Too many prophets IMO.
