mr.mark,

I also found, using no-ads when opening another window in IE will have a quick flash and no window, unless I hold down the CONTROL while opening. Try if it works for you.

Talking about Win2000 Pro OS, I have a problem when opening into explorer, the right pane almost always opens into the LIST option. I reset it into DETAILS on the VIEW tab, close
the window when I reopen it is in the details, but next time again I am back to the LIST. There must be a default setting, but I just can't find it. It drives me crazy, as I want to be in certain settings in opening explorer.
Has anyone have experienced this problem? Win2000 Pro OS.

Thanks in advance,

Alex

mr.mark,
NoAds is the only popup blocker I have experience with. Being over aggressive with wildcards could be responsible for what you described. NoAds has become less effective but I still like it better than having to hold down a key to open a new window.
